I received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology from New York University in 1987. Now a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I began my psychotherapy practice in Stamford, CT, in 1991, and have been practicing here in Norwalk, CT, since 1992. I’ve also live in Norwalk since 1997. Through a mix of individual, couples and family counseling, I have worked with people throughout Fairfield County from Stamford, New Canaan, Darien, Norwalk, Wilton, Weston, Ridgefield, Fairfield, Monroe, Trumbull to Stratford. Thanks to technology, I’ve also worked with people in San Francisco, CA, Albuquerque, NM, Haverhill, MA, Aberdeen, Scotland, Austria, and China!
Besides my work in private practice, I have had experience in a variety of social service agencies providing individual and group counseling, as well as outreach, administration and community education. I have taught undergraduate classes in General Psychology, Adolescent and Abnormal Psychology, Violence in the Family, Psychology of Women and Freshman Seminar at local colleges and universities.
Outside of work, I enjoy yoga, family vacations with my husband and daughter on Cape Cod, walks with our dogs, dinner with friends, movies, music and modern dance.
